Lincolnshire Residents Encouraged to Get Flu Jab Amid Rising Cases

Residents of Lincolnshire are being urged to get their flu vaccinations as the number of cases escalates. Last week, the total of flu cases in the county rose to 859, an increase from 653 the week prior, resulting in heightened hospital admissions during this season, reports the NHS. Steve Clapton, who is in charge of immunisation and screening at NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board, underscored the necessity of getting the flu jab prior to the year’s end, notably for young children and older persons above 85, to guarantee protection against the flu contagion.
