Lincolnshire’s Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to Honour VJ Day with Historic Flypast

As the 80th commemoration of VJ Day draws near, Lincolnshire’s esteemed Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) is poised to hold a prominent position in national memorials. A striking Spitfire, Hurricane, and Lancaster bomber – all maintained by the dedicated crew at RAF Coningsby – will ascend in unison with the Red Arrows in a remarkable flypast above the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire on 15 August.
