Over 300 New Homes Proposed on Louth Farmland

Proposals have been submitted to transform a stretch of farmland on Legbourne Road, Louth, into a housing development consisting of more than 300 homes. The proposed site, presently known as Southfield Farm, is used by Laughtons of Louth for the purpose of cattle rearing. Seeking to establish a self-reliant community, the applicants, Lindum Group Ltd and A & W Laughton, anticipate incorporating affordable housing amongst the 335 proposed properties. The finalisation of this development would involve substituting the current arable and grazing land with residential accommodations, and potentially replacing several agricultural units, subject to approval.
