Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Lorry on A15 Identified as Local Resident

The pedestrian fatally hit by a heavy goods vehicle on the A15 in North Lincolnshire has been identified as 56-year-old Andrew Bontoft, a local resident. The collision took place on the northbound carriageway near the Horkstow Road overhead, around 09:50 GMT on Monday. Despite immediate efforts from emergency services, Mr. Bontoft sustained critical injuries and was subsequently declared dead at the scene. Humberside Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to make contact.
