RAF Tutor Display Team returns to RAF Cranwell to inspire next generation
Local News

The RAF Tutor Display Team is returning to RAF Cranwell, bringing one of the service’s most recognisable training aircraft back to the skies over Lincolnshire.
Based at Cranwell, the team’s display work is aimed at encouraging young people to consider careers in the Royal Air Force, showcasing the Tutor aircraft used in elementary flying training.
In a BBC interview, RAF Tutor Display Pilot Flight Lieutenant Rich Tomala said the team’s mission is about sparking interest in RAF roles and helping people understand the pathways into service life.
The appearance adds to Cranwell’s long-standing place at the heart of RAF training in Lincolnshire, with the base continuing to play a key role in introducing new recruits and officers to aviation and military life.
Further details about timings and where the display can be seen are expected to be shared via RAF channels and local listings.
