Search for Missing Swimmer off Skegness Coast Suspended

The hunt for a swimmer, who was reported missing off Skegness coast, has seen a temporary halt. The search operation was carried out throughout the night and comprised a dynamic relay of helicopters and boats which continuously scanned the coastline. Lincolnshire Police, alongside the HM Coastguard, were alerted to the unfolding situation at 15:30 GMT on Sunday. This followed reports of a man who had vanished post his swim in the waters. The suspension of the search was confirmed by the Coast Guard at 03:30 Monday morning. However, it was mentioned that the search may get reinstated based on the arrival of new information. The missing man’s family has been kept informed of the situation by the Lincolnshire Police regularly.
