South Kesteven Hosts Flood Awareness Event to Aid Residents

In response to the inundation which impacted nearly 200 properties in Lincolnshire earlier in the year, South Kesteven is organising a flood awareness event to provide residents with key information and resources. The event, scheduled for the coming week, will include presentations by experts from the Environment Agency, Anglian Water, and the South Kesteven District Council’s emergency planning unit. Attendees will have the opportunity to garner tailored advice as well as interact directly with experts to discuss strategies for flood protection. Councillor Richard Cleaver highlighted that the event will offer detailed guidance on identifying potential flood risks, preparing one’s house, and establishing an effective response in the event of a flood.
