Sleaford Woman to Appear in Court Over Fatal Crash Near Heckington

A 72-year-old woman from Sleaford has been summoned to Lincoln Magistrates’ Court in the wake of a devastating car crash which caused the passing of an 89-year-old passenger. Sheila Lewis has been charged with causing death by careless driving pertaining to the event which transpired on the A17 near Heckington in August 2024. This summons is a consequence of a comprehensive investigation by Lincolnshire Police. The court hearing has been fixed for 27 November.
