£8.6m Health Research Campus Unveiled in Mablethorpe

East Lindsey District Council has revealed the establishment of a new £8.6 million campus in Mablethorpe, specifically designed to drive forward health sector research and commerce ventures. Named the Campus for Future Living, the facility boasts cutting-edge laboratories, lecture spaces, and onsite accommodation set out to bolster progress in medical technology and deliver in-depth training to carers and medical practitioners. Councillor William Gray of ELDC underscored the importance of the project, characterising it as a ‘landmark development’ that has unfolded over many years. Gray optimistically anticipates the initiative to have a substantial effect on the residents of Mablethorpe and the wider communities, by generating fresh job prospects and reinforcing local employment.
