A significant development in the fight against organised crime has been reported in Lincolnshire following the conviction of a leading figure in a drug network. Roman Le, from Birmingham, was found guilty of running cannabis farms in multiple regions, including North Lincolnshire. It was revealed by the National Crime Agency (NCA) that Le had a central role in the operation, which included several cannabis farms situated in diverse locations. Posing as a property developer, Le employed illegal migrants to run the farms, facilities that were capable of yielding millions of pounds worth of cannabis. Demonstrating the extensive reach of organised crime, the operation reached into North Lincolnshire, encompassing even the more rural areas. Following a detailed investigation by the NCA, Le is due to be sentenced in July.
