Imps’ Ethan Erhahon Misses Grimsby Clash Amid Transfer Interest

Lincoln City’s midfielder Ethan Erhahon did not participate in the pre-season match against Grimsby Town due to mounting transfer interest. This information was divulged by the Imps’ head coach Michael Skubala. The 24-year-old player has recently sparked speculation among various clubs including Swansea City, Oxford United, Bolton Wanderers, and Wigan Athletic who are allegedly keen on securing his services. Even though Erhahon participated in numerous pre-season matches and was part of a training camp in Portugal the previous week, Skubala took the decision that it was in the best interest for Erhahon to refrain from playing on Tuesday in light of the latest interest. Speaking to BBC Radio Lincolnshire, Skubala explained, “We thought that in this particular situation, it would be appropriate for him not to play. We will see if any developments occur.”
