Lincolnshire Council Plans Overhaul of Alternative Education for Excluded Pupils

Lincolnshire County Council is set to revamp the alternative education system for pupils who have been expelled from mainstream schools due to unruly behaviour. With this scheme, the Council aims to more adequately cater to the educational requirements of these students and lower the incidence of expulsions throughout the county. There has been a noticeable increase in expulsions during the previous school term, leading the council to address this issue to guarantee every pupil has access to the education they are entitled to in an environment favourable for learning.
