Man Released on Bail After Double-Fatal Crash Near Marston

Lincolnshire Police have released on bail a man arrested following an unfortunate fatal accident near Marston. The incident took place near Toll Bar Road on Friday, shortly before 02:00 BST. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and a Kia Niro leading to the untimely demise of two teenagers, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old.

The two drivers, an 18-year-old man and another of the same age and gender, were arrested on the suspicion of causing death due to dangerous driving. Whilst the investigation is ongoing, the woman has been released under investigation and the man has been granted bail.

The incident has brought about a wave of grief within the local community. Lincolnshire Police are encouraging anyone with information about the collision to assist their inquiries.

The unfortunate event has emphasised the importance of road safety in the region. There is a growing demand for ecnhanced measures to prevent a recurrence of such tragic incidents on the roads in the area.
