Police Appeal for Information Following Fatal A18 Collision in North Lincolnshire

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a horrific car accident on the A18 in North Lincolnshire that resulted in the death of a senior man and woman. The devastating incident took place between the Barnetby Top and Melton Ross junctions at around 17:45 BST on Sunday.

A green Ford Fusion that was travelling in the direction of Melton Ross on the eastbound carriageway collided with a blue Saab. Regrettably, the occupants of the Ford, a man aged 86 and a woman aged 72, were both declared dead at the crash site.

The individuals in the Saab suffered severe injuries and were rushed to hospital for immediate medical attention. The authorities have called on anyone with helpful information or dashcam footage to come forward to aid in the investigation.
