The incident in question took place at South Lodge Park, otherwise referred to as The Paddocks, at approximately 01:50 BST. The fire services were swift in their response and thankfully, the occupant of one of the tents, a man in his 40s, managed to avoid serious injuries. The case is being approached by authorities as an act of arson with the intent to endanger life, thus highlighting the significant gravity of the situation.
