Jenkyns secured a substantial victory in her position, representing Reform UK, with a majority of nearly 40,000 votes. During the election campaign, there was a challenge from Marianne Overton, an opposing candidate. Overton questioned whether Jenkyns was officially listed on the local electoral roll. However, despite the case being scheduled for a hearing at the Lincoln High Court, Overton chose not to proceed with the appeal.
