Court Appearance for Assault at Spalding Hotel

A man pleads guilty over the Spalding incident while a trial date is set for a Gosberton woman.

Court Appearance for Assault at Spalding Hotel

Two people have been court-ordered after an attack took place at the Travelodge in Springfield Outlet Centre, Spalding. The episode unfolded on 24 June, prompting Lincolnshire Police to make their way to the site of the occurrence. Implicated in this incident are Danny Lodge, a 24-year-old individual hailing from Bishops Way, London, and Leanne Thornton, a 42-year-old resident of Low Gate, Gosberton, Lincolnshire. Lodge made his appearance at Lincoln Crown Court, where he consented to charges such as purposely causing severe bodily harm, distorting the course of justice, and assaulting an emergency service worker. Thornton, however, refrained from entering any pleas during her session.
