Richard Owens, the Technical Manager, highlighted that the extreme dryness has left certain areas with a ‘crisp and crunchy’ texture, likening it to a Ryvita biscuit. Despite the frustration these conditions induce, both Mr Hutton and Mr Owens continued to focus on their efforts, cognisant of the fact that the weather situation is out of their hands.
