Sean Howson, a 56-year-old man from Skegness, has sadly died following injuries sustained from an assault which took place on Albany Road last Thursday evening. The incident led to Mr Howson being hospitalised, where he later passed away on Sunday.
In connection with the incident, the 19-year-old Lincoln resident, Aston Harris, has been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH). He was taken in front of Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday where he currently remains in custody. Harris is expected to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on 4 August. In light of the death, the case is being treated as a homicide and is now subject to an investigation by the force’s major crime unit.
